He did later figure out that his parents were killed by a rogue named Shinchi. Sasuke wandered the forest with Alfi, being spotted by an eagle that attempted to capture them both, biting it's leg to escape the creature's grasp. The fall was too much for his brother but left him barely alive with scars soon forming afterwards from the eagle's claw marks. Sasuke laid next to his dead brother for the rest of the day before passing out from blood loss, ready to give up on living since what little of a purpose he had was taken from him. Sasuke was found by a rogue elder who healed and trained him until eight moons in which the elder, Hiroto, passed away, leaving him alone.
